Michigan Basketball Adds To Roster Via Transfer Portal

In this story:
Seton Hall graduate transfer Tray Jackson has committed to Michigan.
Jackson goes 6-10, 215 pounds, giving him a more traditional power forward/center type of build, but he's described as a knock-down shooter and actually looks more comfortable around the perimeter and driving to the basket. The versatile lefty only averaged 6.5 points and 2.2 rebounds per game with Seton Hall last year, but a change of scenery could help see those numbers improve.
Jackson began his college basketball career at Missouri, where he played sparingly as a true freshman. During his one season with the Tigers, he average just 2.2 points per game. He spent the last three seasons at Seton Hall.
Jackson is actually a Detroit native, making this a homecoming tour for the veteran big. While at Detroit Western International, Jackson was named a 2017 AP Michigan Class A all-state honorable mention. After spending three high school years at DWI, Jackson prepped for one year at Sunrise Christian Academy in Kansas before committing to and play for Mizzou.
