BREAKING: Michigan No. 2 In Latest College Football Playoff Rankings

The Michigan Wolverines made a massive statement with their win over Ohio State on Saturday, securing a perfect 12-0 regular season record and a trip to the Big Ten Championship game.

It's always a big deal when Michigan and Ohio State clash for that final game of the regular season, but this year's edition of the game just felt so much bigger than it has before. Both teams were a perfect 11-0, both ranked within the College Football Playoff top-five, and both facing an unprecedented level of scrutiny with a potential loss.

It was a close battle for most of the afternoon, but the Wolverines emerged from The Game victorious - setting the stage for a third straight trip to the Big Ten Championship and likely a spot in the College Football Playoff. 

On Tuesday, the CFP committee released its latest rankings following a massive weekend with several big-time matchups. Here's a look at the Top-25:
