In this story:

Michigan may not have looked explosive on Saturday against Rutgers, but the Wolverines were sound and did everything they needed to do to walk out with an easy 31-7 win. The win over the Scarlet Knights moved Michigan to 4-0, but the Wolverines aren't receiving much love -- from two of the biggest college football analysts at least.

Fox commentator, Joel Klatt, does a weekly top eight-to-10 teams on Sunday after the games. Last week, he had Michigan ranked second behind Georgia, but he moved the maize and blue down to No. 3.

It's not hateful. Washington moved to No. 2 according to Klatt and the Huskies have been extremely dominant in every game they've played. Klatt also moved Ohio State up to No. 4 after its win over Notre Dame.

While Klatt's ranking isn't that bad, Kirk Herbstreit really isn't showing Michigan much love.

Much like Klatt a week ago, the College Football GameDay analyst and commentator, had Michigan ranked second. But after the Wolverines 31-7 win over Rutgers, the former Ohio State quarterback removed Michigan from the top four completely.

He has Washington ranked No. 1 followed by Georgia, Florida State, and Texas. Herbstreit has Michigan at No. 5 and says the Wolverines haven't lived up to their standard offensively -- yet.

As of this writing, the AP Poll has not been released, but it's hard to believe Michigan will fall, and if it does, it's really hard to believe the Wolverines will fall out of the top four.
