Fox College Football Analyst Believes A Certain Michigan Player Can Win The Heisman Trophy In 2023

In this story:
Week 0 in college football is upon us and we will have football this weekend. But Michigan fans will have to wait another week before the Wolverines kickoff the season on Sept. 2 against East Carolina.
However, with football starting real soon, analysts are starting to share what they think will happen in 2023.
Fox College Sports analyst, and former Heisman winner, Matt Leinart tweeted out a video of who his top five Heisman candidates are in 2023.
Coming in at No. 2 was Michigan running back Blake Corum
“Last year he rushed for nearly 1500 yards but had the injury late in the season. That’s the only question mark for me coming into this season: His health. He is an absolute beast, Michigan is absolutely loaded, and I think Blake Corum has a chance to be the next Heisman trophy winner,” Leinart said.
Corum was on a tear last season and it's hard to say what would've happened if he could've stayed healthy, but it's not out of the equation to think Corum may have won the Heisman in 2022. The Wolverines' identity last season was running the football and Corum was arguably the heart and soul of the Michigan offense.
Corum is back in 2023 and his sidekick, Donovan Edwards, is no slouch either. Michigan will trot out arguably the best running-back duo in the country this season.
