J.J. McCarthy Named Big Ten Co-Offensive Player Of The Week After Beating Michigan State

In this story:
For the second week in a row, J.J. McCarthy is named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week, but this time, he has to share the award.
Last week, McCarthy was the sole player of the week, but this week Marvin Harrison Jr. from Ohio State was also named to the award.
In a 49-0 defeat of the Spartans, McCarthy went 21-for-27 for 287 yards and a career-high four touchdowns scored. The most significant part here is the fact McCarthy didn't play three full quarters of football on Saturday. McCarthy was pulled with 5:16 left in the third quarter.
Harrison also set a career-high on Saturday. Against Penn State, Harrison caught a career-high 11 receptions for 162 yards and a score in a win over the Nittany Lions.
This is the third time a Wolverine has won the Big Ten Player of the Week award. Josaiah Stewart as the DPOTW back in Week 5 and McCarthy has won it back-to-back weeks.
