BREAKING: Michigan Has Fired Chris Partridge

Things are still fluid when it comes to Michigan football even after yesterday's ruling.

In a very surprising development, Michigan has fired linebackers coach Christ Partridge. The school announced the move in a very short and sweet press release.

"Effective today, Chris Partridge has been relieved of his duties as a member of the Michigan Football staff. Rick Minter will serve as the team’s linebackers coach."

Obviously there's not any form of explanation there, but Michigan is still under two separate investigations. It's not exactly out of nowhere, but it is a pretty big surprise as no on-field assistants had been linked to anything from the NCAA probes.
