It's probably not that uncommon for an NFL team to welcome its new head coach with open arms and fanfare, but it feels even easier to do with a guy like Jim Harbaugh. He's quirky, eccentric, meme-worthy and unintentionally entertaining. That's why the Los Angeles Chargers have leaned into the Jim Harbaugh Era with vigor. 

The first example, and probably the funniest one, is the Chargers new Twitter profile picture:

Michigan fans will remember that from an in-game broadcast.

Then of course, there's the official announcement that's been pinned to the top of the Chargers' Twitter account.

And after that it's a lot of Harbaugh references, memes, jokes and messages indicating just how happy the franchise is that it landed one of the most successful coaches in the history of the sport.
