Michigan Players Razz Jim Harbaugh

In this story:
Michigan got win No. 1,000 on Saturday by beating Maryland 31-24. It wasn't pretty, and the Terps certainly made it interesting at times, but a win is a win and the Wolverines now have 1,000 of them. Obviously Jim Harbaugh wasn't in attendance as he serves a three-game suspension imposed by the Big Ten, but he wasn't far away. It's a pretty big bummer that Harbaugh wasn't in the stadium for win No. 1,000, but he was all smiles after the game. We know this, because wide receiver Roman Wilson posted a video of Harbaugh enjoying the win while being reunited with his team.
The video itself is short and not very memorable, but the commentary from the players absolutely is. You can hear them all laughing and happy to see their head coach after the game and one player even says, "He looks like a kid about to get a Happy Meal from McDonald's." The laughter goes up several notches as they realize how happy Harbaugh looks and how he does resemble a child in the backseat of a car anxiously waiting for some nuggets and a toy.
The whole situation isn't a very big deal, but it does speak to the mentality of this team. Harbaugh wasn't there due to the suspension, Roman Wilson himself was knocked out of the game due to concussion protocol, Maryland hung tough and made things pretty interesting down the stretch and Ohio State looms next week. Yet this team is calm, cool and collected, enjoying each other's company and having a good time even while poking innocent fun at their suspended coach. All year long we've heard from coaches and players about this group being like a family and how it's just a rare bunch and stuff like the clip above proves that. It's a small example, but it backs up what the team has been saying for a long time. The bigger examples — the four massive wins, two without Harbaugh, since Connor Stalions was suspended and the sign-stealing scandal became public knowledge.
