REPORT: Sherrone Moore's Staff Dealt Another Blow

It looked like Steve Clinkscale would be staying in Ann Arbor, but things change in a hurry in the world of coaching.

According to reports, after initially telling players that he'd be staying in Ann Arbor, Steve Clinkscale has changed his mind and will now be heading to the NFL to join Jim Harbaugh with the Los Angeles Chargers.

Harbaugh hired Clinkscale in 2021 after courting him for some time and hanging onto him seemed to be a priority for Moore. Now, Moore has to find a new defensive backs coach to pair with new defensive coordinator Wink Martindale. As of right now, Moore has four assistant coach spots to fill, with Mike Hart's future still being somewhat up in the air as well.
