This would be a nice land for Jim Harbaugh and Co. if Michigan can win this transfer over.

In this story:

It became obvious once Pat Fitzgerald was fired at Northwestern, his recruits would start seeking new opportunities.

According to The Michigan Insiders Steve Lorenz, Michigan will host Northwestern transfer Nigel Glover this weekend at the annual BBQ event.

Glover is a 2023 recruit, so he has yet to play a down on the college level. But he was a touted recruit that decided he ultimately wanted to play for Fitzgerald and the Wildcats.

According to the Composite, Glover was a four-star recruit and the 335th-ranked recruit in the '23 cycle. Glover was originally listed as a safety coming out of high school, but he projects to play linebacker at the next level.

Out of high school, Glover was at 6-foot-3, 210-pounds. Once he gets into the weight room and adds good weight, he could be a stout linebacker for Michigan, or whichever school he chooses.

There is some familiarity between Glover and Michigan. Glover is from Clayton (Ohio) Northmont. If that rings a bell, it's because that's the same school Rod Moore attended. The two more than likely knows one another and has some sort of connection.

Glover has also confirmed he will be visiting Kentucky as well.
