BREAKING: Michigan Adds Athletic EDGE To 2024 Class

The hot streak continues for the Michigan Wolverines on the recruiting trail, this time with an athletic edge rusher out of Maryland.

There are few programs in the country that have a resume comparable to Michigan when it comes to producing elite edge rushers. From Aidan Hutchinson to David Ojabo, the Wolverines have plenty of successful examples to share with future prospects. 

Given Michigan's solid track record of developing elite EDGE talent, it's no surprise that Devon Baxter announced on Monday night that he was committed to the Wolverines. 

The 6-6, 225-pound is a well-rounded athlete - playing EDGE and tight end in High School, along with being a standout basketball player. Baxter is largely considered a raw talent, which is probably why he's only at a three-star rating according to 247Sports. That being said, a quick look at the measurables and body type tells you everything you need to know about his potential as a collegiate athlete.

Baxter's commitment brings Michigan's total to 22 commitments in the 2024 class:
