Elite 11 Day Three Observations: Michigan's Jadyn Davis Shines

By all accounts, Michigan's Jadyn Davis had an up and down experience during his first two days at the Elite 11 Finals. Day three, however, was a different story for the future Wolverine. The final day of the Elite 11 Finals featured the 7-on-7 portion of the event, and Davis made his presence (and talent) know to everyone.

Jadyn Davis (Michigan commit) – There aren’t many in the class who can pick apart defenses like Davis. His sweet spot is usually the short to intermediate parts of the field, but he showed in the 7-on-7 setting on Friday that he can push the ball to the deeper third. That’s encouraging for the future Wolverine as we haven’t really seen much of that from him during recent in-person evaluations.

Michigan commit Jadyn Davis made a late push for inclusion in the Top Performers with a strong showing in 7-on-7 on Friday. The Wolverine pledge looked by far the best he had all week, completing 11 of 15 passes for four touchdowns. Davis showed good zip on his intermediate passes and had nice touch on a few corner routes that went for scores.

It remains to be seen where Davis will finish among the 20 finalists who competed in the event, but it's safe to say that Michigan is getting a really good quarterback in the 2024 class. Sure, there are some things that he'll need to improve on when it comes to his mechanics, but there's absolutely no doubt that he has all of the necessary tools to become QB1 during his time in Ann Arbor.
