Michigan Football: Where Jim Harbaugh Ranks All-Time
Entering his ninth season as head coach of the Michigan Wolverines, head coach Jim Harbaugh is placing his name among some of the best to ever do it.

The Michigan Football program has a long history that dates back to 1879, when Michigan played its first intercollegiate football game against Racine College at White Stocking Park in Chicago.
Since that time, the Wolverines have had 20 different head coaches throughout the programs history, including names like Lloyd Carr, Fritz Crisler, Fielding Yost, Bo Schembechler, and now Jim Harbaugh.
