Even though there is a significant push, mostly from folks at ESPN, to prevent Michigan from playing for a national championship due to the sign-stealing saga, it's clear that the College Football Playoff committee is focused squarely on what's happening on the field - for now. 

Next up for the No. 3 Wolverines is a huge road matchup with No. 10 Penn State, which will be Michigan's first ranked opponent of the 2023 season. According to FanDuel, Michigan is a 7.0-point favorite, and the point total for the game is currently set to 46.5 points
