Michigan Football To Hold Annual Awards Show This Weekend

The Michigan Football program is set to hold its annual awards show this weekend in Ann Arbor.

We are just 20 days out from the highly anticipated Rose Bowl matchup between No. 1 Michigan and No. 4 Alabama in this year's College Football Playoff Semifinal. Before the Wolverines head out to Pasadena, the team will be holding its annual awards show at Crisler Center this weekend.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan football program will hold its annual team awards show this Sunday ( Dec. 17) at 7 p.m. inside Crisler Center. Tickets for the event can be purchased at the Michigan Ticket Office or online at MGoBlue.com/tickets for $10 each.

This annual football event hosted by the M Club of Greater Detroit will feature the presentation of the team's annual honors and recognize the senior football players with the distribution of their awards and coveted "M" rings.

Doors open to the public at 6:30 p.m.

Following are the awards being presented at the 2023 Michigan Football Awards Show:

-Humphries-Miller Scholarship Award

-Rookie of the Year

-Scout Team Players of the Year (Offense, Defense, Special Teams)

-Most Improved Players (Offense, Defense, Special Teams)

-Robert P. Ufer Spirit Award

-Roger Zatkoff Award (Top Linebacker)

-Woodley-Graham Award (Top Defensive Lineman/outside LB)

-Dierdorf-Hutchinson Award (Top Offensive Linemen)

-Offensive Skill Player of the Year

-Defensive Skill Player of the Year

-Toughest Player of the Year Award

-Blue Collar Award (Hardest Worker)

-Special Teams Player of the Year

-Specialist of the Year

-Offensive Player of the Year

-Defensive Player of the Year

-Bo Schembechler Most Valuable Player of the Year
