The postseason awards continue to roll in for the Michigan Wolverines, this time with three players being named to the 2023 Sports Illustrated All-America Team.

Sophomore defensive back Will Johnson and senior offensive lineman Zak Zinter were named to the 1st team, while fifth year senior Mike Sainristil was named to the 2nd team.

Will Johnson has been a rising star ever since the day he stepped foot on Michigan's campus back in 2022. In fact, several outlets projected Johnson to be a first-round NFL Draft pick following his freshman year - even though he's still not eligible for the draft at this point. Most recently, Johnson was named to the All-Big Ten Defensive Team (1st team coaches, 1st team media).

Zak Zinter is another guy who's firmly established himself as a future NFL talent, as the senior offensive lineman was recently named to the All-Big Ten first team offense by both the coaches and the media. With guys like Zinter leading the way, the offensive line has surrendered just 1.17 sacks per game, the lowest rate in the Big Ten Conference.

Veteran defensive back Mike Sainristil was also recently named to the All-Big Ten Defensive Team, as the fifth-year senior currently leads the Wolverines in interceptions (5), interceptions yards (151), and touchdowns off of interceptions (2). After making the transition from wide receiver to defensive back heading into the 2022 season, Sainristil has established himself as one of the top defenders in all of college football.
