It's become one of the favorite uniform combos in Ann Arbor, and the Wolverines will be rocking in on Saturday when Ohio State comes to town. On Friday, Michigan announced it will be going with the all-blue alternate for the 119th matchup all-time against the Buckeyes.

Although Ohio State has won 8 of the last 10, it's been the Wolverines who have been victorious in the last two matchups - and they've done so in dominant fashion by a combined score of 87-50.

Here are some noteworthy items ahead of Saturday's Top-Five matchup:

  • The Wolverines have won 21 straight home games, the longest home winning streak under head coach Jim Harbaugh and the programs best since a 28-game winning streak from 1969-73 under former head coach Bo Schembechler.
  • This will be the 119th meeting between Michigan and Ohio State. The Wolverines have a 60-52-6 advantage in the all-time series. U-M ended an eight game losing streak against OSU with wins in the last two meetings (2021 and 2022).
  • This will be the 61st meeting between Michigan and Ohio State in Ann Arbor and the 50th meeting at Michigan Stadium. U-M has compiled a record of 32-+24-4 against OSU in Ann Arbor and a 24-22-3 record at Michigan Stadium
  • This will be the 26th time that Michigan and Ohio State take the field in a Top-10 matchup. The Buckeyes hold a 12-11-2 advantage in those contests.
  • This will be the 13th time that the rivals will square off as Top-Five teams. The Buckeyes hold a 7-4-1 advantage in those contests, but the Wolverines have won four of the past six matchups.
  • This will be the fourth time that U-M and OSU meet when both programs are ranked in the top three of the polls. All previous games were played at Ohio Stadium.
