It didn't take long for veteran defensive back and former Michigan Wolverine RJ Moten to find a new home. On Tuesday, the Florida Gators made it official on social media by announcing the addition of Moten.

Moten, a three-time letterman at Michigan who appeared in 29 career games with 15 starts at safety, will have two years of remaining eligibility at Florida.

  • Two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree (2021, '22)
  • Three-time letterman (2020-21-22)
  • Appeared in 29 career games with 15 starts at safety

Junior (2022)

  • Appeared in all 14 games, playing defensive back in 13 games with 10 starts at safety
  • Accounted for 31 tackles with 2.5 for loss, 1.5 sacks, one interception among two breakups and two quarterback hurries to earn his third varsity letter

Sophomore (2021)

  • Appeared in all 14 games with five starts at safety and also contributed on special teams
  • Accounted for 34 tackles and broke up four passes including one interception to earn his second varsity letter

Freshman (2020)

  • Appeared in one game on special teams to earn his first varsity letter
  • Made his U-M debut playing special teams against Wisconsin (Nov. 14)
