There are some key games in the Big Ten in Week 11. Here's what to expect in every matchup.

Big Ten Football: Predicting Every Big Ten Final Score In Week 11

In this story:

Week 11 is going to be extremely telling in the Big Ten conference.

The biggest game of the week will kick at Noon on Fox between No. 3 Michigan and No. 10 Penn State. This will make the first ranked team the Wolverines have played this season and it's on the road. While Michigan could technically still win the Big Ten East if it loses on Saturday, the Nittany Lions are a different story. If PSU takes a second loss -- the Nittany Lions are all but shutout from not only the Big Ten Championship game, but their Playoff hopes are dead.

All 14 Big Ten teams will hit the gridiron this Saturday and Big Ten implications are on the line for a ton of the games.

Here's how I see each game going.

Trent's SU win/loss record through 10 weeks: 70-14

Michigan vs. Penn State -- Noon ET

As of this writing, it's not clear what's going to happen to Jim Harbaugh: does he coach against Penn State or doesn't he? I don't think it's going to matter. The Michigan players appear to be locked in and they have a 'Michigan against everybody' mentality. J.J. McCarthy is playing the best football of his career and the Michigan defense is stopping everything. Penn State is a really good football team, but until James Franklin can prove he can beat either Michigan or Ohio State, it's hard to pick the Nittany Lions.

Michigan 31, Penn State 17

Indiana vs. Illinois -- Noon ET

Both teams are coming off impressive weeks from a week ago: Indiana defeated Wisconsin and Illinois won on the road against Minnesota. The Illini won two out of their last three games and quite honestly should have defeated Wisconsin. While the Hoosiers did win impressively, I've got to take Illinois at home.

Illinois 24, Indiana 20

Maryland vs. Nebraska -- Noon ET

Maryland has lost four games in a row. Wow. The Terps appeared like they were going to be a team that was going to get out of their own way in 2023, but it turns out -- same ole Maryland. The Terrapins are the more talented team here, but the Huskers aren't playing terrible football and Matt Rhule has his team playing with confidence. The Huskers are coming off of a bad loss against Michigan State, and I do think they can beat Maryland, but the Terps and Taulia Tagovailoa are due for a win.

Maryland 28, Nebraska 27

Rutgers vs. Iowa -- 3:30 p.m. ET

I'm not joking when I say I think the first time to score 14 points is going to win. Rutgers has a better offense than Iowa, but it's also a bland style of football. Both teams rock a solid defense and if this game was in Piscataway I wouldn't have any issue picking Rutgers to win. But Iowa plays better football -- defensive -- at home. I think the Hawkeyes win a tough-fought contest.

Iowa 14, Rutgers 10

Minnesota vs. Purdue -- 3:30 p.m. ET

Minnesota may not be a great time, but I just got done covering Michigan last weekend against Purdue, and the Boilermakers are just not there yet. I haven't been sold on Athan Kaliakmanis at all, but I think between him and the Gophers' solid run game, Minnesota gets a needed win on the road.

Minnesota 28, Purdue 17

Northwestern vs. Wisconsin -- 3:30 p.m. ET

Boy, Wisconsin is in trouble if it can't get Braelon Allen back. And it sounds like Allen isn't trending to play against the Wildcats. Now Wisconsin will be down its top two running backs and its starting QB. The Badgers' defense has played well, but it can't make up for the loss of their top offensive playmakers. I like the gritty Wildcats to get a game on the road and get to .500.

Northwestern 17, Wisconsin 14

Michigan State vs. Ohio State -- 7:30 p.m. ET

Ohio State hasn't looked like the No. 1 team in the nation in the past three games, but the Buckeyes always get the job done. With how bad Michigan State is -- I know it just beat Nebraska last weekend -- I look for Ohio State to come out firing. I could see this game getting ugly really fast.

Ohio State 38, Michigan State 13
