Social Media Erupts After Michigan Football Wins National Title

In this story:
For the first time since 1997, the Michigan Wolverines are national champions. Michigan defeated Washington 34-13 on Monday night and the Wolverines were true to themselves by running the football and playing great defense.
The Wolverines ran for 303 yards on the ground and both Donovan Edwards and Blake Corum surpassed 100 yards each and both scored two touchdowns. The Michigan defense intercepted Michael Penix twice on Monday and wreaked havoc by having constant pressure on the quarterback.
After Michigan won, social media erupted, and here are some of the best reactions we could find.

WHAT A YEAR for Michigan. In the age of high flying offenses, Michigan won with DEFENSE and PHYSICALITY at the line of scrimmage. Michigan showed that no matter how much the game changes DOMINATING in the trenches will always last the test of time. Congrats to the National Champs https://t.co/5qfa2eWmUX

I think we’ve seen Jim Harbaugh coach his final game at Michigan. The man walked away from the NFL to take a job at his struggling alma mater. And in less than a decade, he’s delivered three straight B1G titles, a turned tide in the OSU rivalry and a freaking National Title.

Blake Corum to me a month ago “At the end of this, I see a parade down State Street, everyone coming together doing it for Michigan. Putting a new banner up. I see this team going down in history. We love each other, we play for each other. That’s what it’s about” @UMichFootball

Michigan allowed 10.4 points per game this season, which was the fewest by a Big Ten team since...Michigan's 1997 team (9.5). Both won the national championship.
