In this story:

Preseason rankings are coming out rapidly now that college football is set to begin in a couple of weeks.

Joel Klatt, the Fox Sports color commentator, released his preseason top 25 pool. Klatt is extremely familiar with the Wolverines since he called plenty of their games last season. Gus Johnson and Klatt combine as one of the best college football broadcasters in the nation when it comes to calling Big Ten football on Fox.

Georgia is obviously Klatt's No. 1 choice. He said between the Bulldogs' easy schedule and the fact that nobody has stopped them from winning two national championships in a row -- UGA has to be No. 1.

But Klatt says No. 2 is when debates will start. However, he believes in Michigan and likes what he's seen from the Wolverines.

"Michigan is going to be my No. 2 team in the country," said Klatt on his Youtube show. "Michigan has a lot going for it this year. Jim Harbaugh is returning what I think is his best team at Michigan. He's got a quarterback back, he's got the best running-back tandem in the country back. They got an offensive line that is as good or better than any offensive line in the country -- by the way they've won Joe Moore Award two years in a row, and they got a couple of really good transfers to come into that offensive line."

"The defense is solid. I would say that they will be better. Guys like Will Johnson -- entering into the prime of their college career --  now in his second year over at corner. Mike Sainrinstil their nickel back. Jim Harbaugh believes this is a deep roster, 15-20 guys could get drafted off of this roster. This is a really good team. By the way, they've won the Big Ten twice. That blueprint is sufficient in that conference and it has worked, it ain't changing. So I've got Michigan at No. 2."
