Two Key Michigan Football Recruits Are Absolutely Dominating In The High School Ranks

In this story:
While Michigan football got off to a hot start on the 2024 recruiting trail, things have really cooled off for the Wolverines. In fact, the Wolverines have lost a few kids who have gone elsewhere -- like the Smith twins who went to Kentucky.
But two of the top commits in the No. 14 ranked class are having substantially great seasons this year.
Four-star quarterback Jadyn Davis is having a really, really good year at Providence Day School (NC). The former five-star is now the 68th-ranked recruit according to the Composite and the No. 7 QB in the 2024 cycle.
The Michigan Insider's Brice Marich tweeted out the following stats from Davis this year. Through seven games this year, Davis has completed nearly 80% of his passes and has thrown for 1,972 yards, and 26 TDs, with just one interception -- that came this past week.
#Michigan QB commit Jadyn Davis threw his first pick this season, but... he still went 12-of-14 passing for 298 yards, five TDs in a 49-13 win over Charlotte (N.C.) Country Day School this week:

Depending on what star junior J.J. McCarthy does after this season, there is a chance Davis could see substantial play time next season in Ann Arbor as a freshman. If McCarthy would go pro, the Wolverines could turn to the transfer portal, or let Davis battle it out with the current QBs on the Michigan roster next season.
Michigan has two RBs committed in the 2024 cycle, and the highest-ranked recruit, Jordan Marshall is having a stellar season.
The four-star back out of Cincinnati Moeller (OH) is the 75th-ranked recruit in the country, according to the Composite. Marshall is also the No. 6 best running back recruit in the nation.
The 5-foot-10 back has crushed the competition in eight games. Marshall has racked up 1,109 yards on the ground and 14 touchdowns. He is averaging 6.9 yards per carry.
#Michigan RB commit Jordan Marshall (@J_MARSH2024) continues to be a workhorse as he racked up 220 rushing yards on 21 carries and two TDs in a 47-7 win over Cleveland (OH.) St. Ignatius this week:

Like Davis, Marshall has a chance to see the field next season as a Wolverine. Of course, Blake Corum will be gone, but a lot of what happens will be decided by what Donovan Edwards does. If Edwards comes back, carries will be limited for other backs, but if Edwards chases his NFL dream -- Marshall could see some carries.
