Top 2024 Michigan Football O-line Target Announces Commitment Date, Final 4

The Wolverines are hoping to land the giant offensive lineman in the coming days.

Michigan has the No. 4 recruiting class in the country according to the Composite in the 2024 rankings. The Wolverines also are loaded with five offensive linemen who have verbally committed, but that's not stopping Michigan from trying to land more elite talent. 

It was announced on Thursday that Bennett Warren would be making his college decision on July 31 and he would be deciding between Michigan, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas A&M.

The 6-7, 330-pound offensive tackle hails from Sugar Land (Texas) Fort Bend Christian Academy. It would be a massive land (literally and figuratively) if Michigan could pull him in. He is a four-star recruit, the 143rd-ranked recruit, and the No. 8 offensive tackle in the 2024 cycle.

Looking strictly at the recruiting sites, it appears Michigan is in the driver's seat. There are three Crystal Ball predictions for Michigan and one for Texas A&M. However, Steve Wiltfong -- a national recruiting analyst -- placed a prediction for the Wolverines and that usually is a good indicator. 

Over on On3, the Wolverines have an 80.9% chance to land Warren, according to the Recruiting Prediction Machine. 

Warren took an official visit to Michigan on June 9.
