Michigan State Freshmen F Julius Marble Talks Kentucky Wildcats & More!

Breslin Student Events Center
East Lansing, MI
The #1 team in America happens to reside in the Big Ten. They also happen to reside in the state of Michigan. No, not in Ypsilanti, Mt. Pleasant, Kalamazoo or Ann Arbor. Instead, they’re right here in East Lansing and of course, we are talking about the Michigan State Spartans and their Hall of Fame head coach Tom Izzo.
The Spartans kick off the season on October 9, in an exhibition contest against Albion and the season officially kicks off November 5 at 9:30 PM in New York. The Spartans will be taking on the #2 Kentucky Wildcats in the Champions Classic. No doubt that the nation’s attention is already looking at the critical first game of the year heavyweight fight.
Julius Marble is one of the top true freshmen in America. He is versatile and so talented. We talk about the respect he is earning from his teammates and we look ahead to a big reason why he chose Michigan State.
Marble told me when back in high school, "It seems every time you turn on the TV you see the Spartans and they are playing in another big game. I love that. I want to play in those games, doesn't everyone?"
Marble's youth and energy for the game and to be coached hard is what makes him a special player. His character is what makes him a special young man.
