Three Michigan State men's basketball players earned All-Big Ten honors following the conclusion of the 2022-23 regular season — the most that MSU has had selected in a single year since 2018-19.

Senior shooting guard Tyson Walker was named 2nd Team All-Big Ten by both the league's coaches and media.

Walker led the Spartans in scoring at 14.8 points per game while shooting 46% from the floor, 42.9% from 3-point range and 80.4% from the free throw line. The senior added 2.8 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game during the regular season.

Walker is Michigan State's first 2nd Team All-Big Ten selection since 2019-20, when Xavier Tillman earned the honor. Cassius Winston was a 1st Team selection that season as well.

Junior point guard A.J. Hoggard was named 3rd Team All-Big Ten by the conference's media, while earning Honorable Mention by the coaches.

Hoggard led Michigan State and was tied for second in the Big Ten averaging 6.1 assists per game. The junior averaged 12.6 points per game while shooting 41.1% from the floor, 30.9% from 3-point range and 81.6% from the foul line. Hoggard added 3.7 rebounds and 0.9 steals per game.

Senior power forward Joey Hauser earned Honorable Mention All-Big Ten by both the media and the coaches.

Hauser averaged 14.2 points per game on 48.7% shooting from the floor, 45.9% from three-point range and 85.9% from the free throw line. He added 7.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.

With Walker, Hoggard and Hauser each earning All-Big Ten recognition, the Spartans have their most selections in a single season since 2018-19, when Cassius Winston (1st Team, Coaches and Media), Nick Ward (3rd Team, Coaches and Media), Matt McQuaid (Honorable Mention, Coaches and Media) and Kenny Goins (Honorable Mention, Coaches and Media) were each recognized.

Purdue center Zach Edey was named Big Ten Player of the Year, while Northwestern's Chris Collins was named Big Ten Coach of the Year.

Rutgers' Caleb McConnell and Northwestern's Chase Audige shared the Big Ten's Defensive Player of the Year award. Indiana's Jalen Hood-Schifino was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year. Iowa's Payton Sandfort earned Big Ten Sixth Man of the Year.
