Tom Izzo has undergone successful surgery today. Here is the statement issued by Men's Basketball SID Matt Larson

"Michigan State men’s basketball coach Tom Izzo underwent successful hernia surgery early Wednesday morning. The operation was performed by Dr. Troy Ferguson at McLaren Greater Lansing. Izzo is expected back in the basketball office later this week."
