Mark Dantonio Lands MASSIVE Offensive Lineman to Add to His 2016 Recruiting Class Haul with OT Thiyo Lukusa from Traverse City, Michigan
Late last night Mark Dantonio landed another monster piece for his 2016 recruiting class. Marking the fourth commitment for that class in under 48 hours, Thiyo Lukusa the massive 6’6†300 pound monster from Traverse City, Michigan made the choice.
With an offer list that includes national powers from all conferences, Lukusa said no to them all and stood up Big Ten teams from top to bottom including Ohio State and Michigan. Lukusa is the third offensive lineman to commit to the Spartans for this class that is shaping up to be Dantonio’s best top to bottom and clearly the best on the OL. Matt Allen, the brother of Jack and Brian Allen currently starting on the MSU OL is one of the others. Allen is a star C and Cole Chewins is enrolling this summer with the 2015 class, but will go on scholarship this January with the 2016 class as a gray shirt. Chewins is also an OT giving Dantonio a classic set of OT bookends for his line of the future.
