NFL Makes A Bold Statement About Spartan Football and the Job Mark Dantonio is Doing in East Lansing
The Michigan State Spartans were in shambles when Mark Dantonio returned to East Lansing to repair the program in 2007.  Entering his ninth season the NFL recently made a statement that truly demonstrates the amazing job the pride of Zanesville, OH (Mark Dantonio) has done with the Spartan Nation's football program.
The NFL via their official media voice NFL.com listed the top 100 football games in the nation for the 2015 season with the season being 100 days away. The Spartans landed five games on that list, an astounding 5% of ALL the games for the entire landscape of division one college football and that isn't even the biggest news. They had two of the TOP FOUR games.
Per the NFL the 100th most anticipated game is the Spartans September 4 matchup in Kalamazoo with the upstart and dangerous WMU Broncos led by fireball young coach P.J. Fleck. The 76th most anticipated game is when the Spartans travel to one of the best atmospheres for football at any level in Lincoln, Nebraska to take on the Huskers on November 7th. Again per the NFL the 68th most anticipated game of the 2015 season is when the Spartans take a short bus ride to Ann Arbor to take on the Wolverines and new head football coach Jim Harbaugh on October, 11th.
It is having two of the top four that truly demonstrates the depth and expectations on the Spartans shoulders this season. The fourth most anticipated game of the year is when Oregon and the high powered Ducks offense, minus Marcus Mariota come to East Lansing on September 12. Finally the SECOND most aniticipated game of the 2015 college football season per NFL.com is the Spartans trip to Columbus on November 21 to face defending national title winner The Ohio State Buckeyes and Urban Meyer.
