Live Score Updates: Mississippi State Baseball vs. No. 6 Arkansas, Game 1

The back half of the season continues for Mississippi State baseball (24-20, 6-15) as the Bulldogs aim to snap a three-game losing streak with an upcoming weekend series against the No. 6-ranked Arkansas Razorbacks.

The Bulldogs were most recently swept by the No. 24-ranked Tennessee Volunteers, losing Game 1 with a final score of 8-7, falling in Game 3 in a matchup that ended in a 12-8, finally run-ruled, 13-2 in the last contest in Knoxville.

MSU's most recent victory came on April 25, when the Bulldogs defeated the Ole Miss Rebels, 2-1 at Trustmark Park.

The Razorbacks (33-12, 14-7) are also looking to bounce back in this one as they come off of an 8-6 loss to Lipscomb in extra innings. Before that, Arkansas swept the Texas A&M Aggies with victories of 7-5, 10-4 and 8-7, previously losing four in a row between an 8-4 loss to Missouri State in midweek action and being swept by the Georgia Bulldogs in the previous weekend.

First pitch is set for 6 p.m. CT in Starkville of Friday, May 5.
