The EA Sports College Football video game has been on hold since 2014, and fans have been anxiously waiting for the return of this wildly popular game.

The game is set to return in 2024, but it could be much different. NIL has such a stronghold on college athletics, and every player wants to get the proper amount of money from EA to use their likeness in the game.

Players are expected to get around $500 from their appearances in the game, which is absurdly low. The College Football Players Association wants to form a boycott.

If the players do boycott the game, then the game's release date likely will be pushed back. The players will fight to earn a proper amount of money, and rightfully so.

If and when the game is released, it will not be the same as expected. Schools and players will be missing from the games due to money and other extenuating circumstances.

NCAA football fans have been waiting for almost a decade for a new game, and it seems that another issue has arisen.
