The Missouri native averaged 1.9 points, 2.2 rebounds and 0.3 assists per game during her sophomore campaign in the 2024-25 season. As a freshman, she averaged 3.2 points, 2.4 rebounds and 0.4 assists. The 6-foot-4 forward appeared in 62 games during those two seasons, starting in 19 of them during her freshman year.
She shot 40 percent from the field and 57.9 percent from the free-throw line as a sophomore. That outing preceded a freshman season where she shot 57.6 percent from the field, 33.3 percent from the three-point line and 63.9 percent from the free-throw line.
Linthacum joins Shannon Dowell as the second Tiger under Kellie Harper to enter the transfer portal following Harper's first season. Harper will have plenty of work to do in the transfer portal this offseason to replace the production of Dowell and the experience and size of Linthacum.
She won't, however, have to replace the production of junior guard Grace Slaughter. The talented junior announced on Tuesday that she would return for her senior season with the Tigers, with a chance to lea them in scoring for a third consecutive season. Slaughter averaged 18.7 points and 6.8 rebounds per game this season, while shooting 45.3 percent from the field and 38.3 percent from the field. She will likely be one of the best returning guards in the SEC next season.
