Fans young and old flocked to Nebraska's Memorial Stadium on a toasty Thursday evening for a chance to get up close to Husker football players and coaches.

It was the annual Fan Day event, something that wasn't part of last season because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Below are videos of the autograph signing and picture taking.  Also capturing the flavor of the evening are photo galleries from Huskers.com, the Omaha World-HeraldHuskerOnline, Hail Varsity  and the Lincoln Journal Star. (Pictured at the top of this article is safety Javin Wright.)

Coach Scott Frost's Huskers held a press conference earlier Thursday will have their first practice Friday morning, 29 days before the season begins with a road game against Illinois.
