Standout Defensive End Keylan Abrams Updates Nebraska Recruitment Ahead of Official Visit

2025 prospect from Texas will be in Lincoln the weekend of the Huskers' April 27th spring game

The Nebraska Cornhuskers have been in contact with many high-level recruits across the nation.

They have been targeting a specific Texas recruit.

Keylan Abrams is a three-star 2025 defensive end from DeSoto High School in DeSoto, Texas. He is a 6-foot-2, 205-pound prospect who will be visiting during the weekend of the Huskers' annual Red-White spring game in late April.

He has tons of great things to say about the Huskers.

“I just like the relationship I have with the coaches and staff at Nebraska and the nice facilities and the culture they have there,” Abrams stated to Husker Max.

He dived deeper into which Nebraska coaches he connects with the most.

“I connect with the whole defensive staff and Coach Garret (McGuire) and Matt Rhule. There is never a day nobody from that Nebraska staff isn’t checking on me. That’s something I value.”

The talented edge rusher has an official visit coming up and has some things he looks forward to seeing.

“Seeing the facility, getting that one one-on-one with Coach Rhule, and being able to feel the vibes and be a part of the culture in Nebraska. The family bond those guys have catches my eye a lot and it’s always hard work being put out and I believe it will pay off this season for them.”

He believes that he could bring something special to the program.

“I can bring something NOBODY has ever seen before and just a great attitude and attention to the team and just a ball player.”
