Social Media Explodes Over Notre Dame-Clemson Series Announcement

The was college football world is alive and buzzing Tuesday morning as news of a new 12-year series between powerhouses Notre Dame and Clemson was announced. The two have played semi-regulary since Notre Dame began a sweetheart deal with the ACC over a decade ago, but this will pit the powers against each other each regular season from 2026-2037.
Clemson leads the all-time series having won five of eight meetings against Notre Dame and four of six played since 2015. Road wins in the series are rare historically however as the home team hasn't lost a matchup since 1979.
