Notre Dame is in pursuit of talented wide receiver Raiden Vines-Bright

Notre Dame Is A Top Choice For Talented Receiver Raiden Vines-Bright

Notre Dame and wideout Raiden Vines-Bright are building a strong connection

The 2025 wide receiver class has really filled up, now holding commitments from Elijah BurressJerome Bettis Jr. and Shaun Terry.  Now Notre Dame has narrowed its focus with limited spots available. On the short list is former Tempe (Ariz.) Corona Del Sol star Raiden Vines-Bright, who will be playing at IMG Academy as a senior.

Vines-Bright was on campus on Monday and Tuesday, getting his first look at Notre Dame. The talented pass catcher now leaves South Bend with an even deeper understanding of what the program is all about.

"The visit went great,” Vines-Bright told Irish Breakdown. "I loved the historic feel to the campus and the energy was unreal during practice.”

One of the biggest parts of the visit was getting to see the coaches and really develop that relationship further. Those conversations really made Vines-Bright understand how much the staff values him. They are really pushing for him.

"It went great with the coaches,” Vines-Bright explained. "They are really pushing hard for me and showed that they had a plan for me when I would get there. They were saying that they needed a speed receiver. They really showed me that I had a legitimate chance of making an early impact.”

Coming into the visit, Notre Dame was on the short list of top schools for Vines-Bright. Now leaving, they are an even stronger contender. Notre Dame has positioned itself as a program that others must battle with in this recruitment.

"Notre Dame is a very high choice for me,” he explained. "I want to end up committing around July after my official visits are done. That’s the plan right now.”

The 6-0, 175-pound pass catcher just put together an extremely impressive junior campaign for the Aztecs. In 11 games, Vines-Bright hauled in 59 receptions for 1,114 yards and nine touchdowns, averaging a stellar 18.9 yards per reception.

Vines-Bright has seen his recruiting ranking begin to take a big step forward. He is rated as a four-star recruit on the On3 recruiting ranking, currently sitting as the No. 149 overall player and No. 18 wide receiver in the 2025 recruiting class.

The Arizona native has been hearing from more and more notable programs. Some of Vines-Bright’s top offers so far include the Irish, Alabama, USC, Michigan, Florida, Texas A&M, Washington, UCLA, Wisconsin, Kansas, Utah, Arkansas, Arizona, Arizona State, Louisville, Baylor and Purdue among others.
