'20 Ohio State Commit Julian Fleming (WR) Highlights + Evaluation

Julian Fleming is the most highly recruited WR and one of the most sought after ballers in the country. He joins a loaded WR core at thee OSU, but will look to compete for burn come fall 2020.

Already a polished athlete, the Pennsylvania product scored an alarming 22 TD's his junior year on 78 catches with 1524 yards. He has a mean fade route, shown on the first play of his tape. He's also a thrill to watch with the ball in his hands. He can run route across the entire field and might be most dangerous when he's working in between the hashes.

With a big body and excellent vision, he is well equipped to make linebackers and safeties miss, and absorb their hits when he gets swarmed. Corner routes look like a favorite of Fleming's, and he's shown relaxed confidence in his over the shoulder catches.

With both size and speed, Fleming projects as both a slot and an outside receiver. Additionally, his size could see him being useful as an H-back in Ryan Day's Spread. 

Big Picture

Ohio State's Class of 2020 now flexes two 5-stars with Paris Johnson Jr, and a handful of 4-stars including QB (pro) Jack Miller from Arizona and Luke Wypler from New Jersey. Only a handful of other schools have multiple 5-stars committed, with Clemson leading the way with 5.
