Oklahoma OTs Shine at NFL Combine

In this story:
Bill Bedenbaugh couldn’t help but be proud watching Sunday’s results from Indianapolis.
Two of Bedenbaugh’s prized pupils — tackles Wanya Morris and Anton Harrison — went through workouts and position drills at the NFL Scouting Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium, and both had good moments as they transition into a career in professional football.
Oklahoma’s offensive line coach mentored Harrison, who was OU’s starter for two seasons on the left side, and Morris, who started last year after working as a backup in 2021.
Harrison ran an official 4.98-second time in the 40-yard dash, the second-fastest time of the entire offensive line group (just behind the 4.97 posted by Georgia’s Broderick Jones). Morris’ best 40 time was 5.10, which ranked 12th of the 36 offensive linemen who ran 40s.

Morris, however, pulled up lame at the end of his second run and fell at the finish line. He was on the turf for several minutes as medical personnel attended to his right hamstring.
Per @StaceyDales Wanya Morris said he has a right hamstring injury but thinks he will be able to go for his OU pro day on 3/30.

Still, Morris’ 1.73 seconds in the 10-yard split — which measures explosiveness out of a stance instead of just speed over 40 yards — was tied for the third-fastest of any o-lineman on the day. Harrison’s 1.77 split ranked 10th.
Both Harrison and Morris posted a 28.5-inch vertical jump, which ranked 24th among all o-line prospects.
Morris went 9-foot, 3-inches in the broad jump, tied for sixth, while Harrison went 8-9, which tied for 23rd.
Neither participated in the 3-cone drill or the 20-yard shuttle.
