Oklahoma on Thursday announced its 2024 conference schedule for the upcoming season — the Sooners’ last in the Big 12.

With more Big 12 teams this year (the league’s softball roster has expanded from seven to 10, adding UCF, BYU and Houston), OU will open conference play March 8-10 at home with a series against Iowa State (they opened March 25 last season), and will close league action at home against Oklahoma State May 3-5.

OU will play five series at home and four on the road, including April 5-7 at Texas.

The Sooners’ other home series are March 22-24 against Baylor, April 11-13 against BYU, and April 19-21 against Houston.

OU will hit the road for series at Texas Tech (March 15-17), Kansas (March 28-30), Texas and UCF (April 26-28).

Patty Gasso’s three-time defending national champion Sooners are expected to open brand new Love’s Field on time next spring, transitioning away from Marita Hynes Field after 25 years there.

OU concludes its fall exhibition schedule Thursday night at home with a Battle Series intrasquad scrimmage.
