OU Softball: Oklahoma's Second Midweek Contest Officially Canceled

For the second straight day, weather wiped out Oklahoma’s plans.
The top-ranked Sooners were scheduled to head to Tulsa to take on the Tulsa Golden Hurricane today, but that game has been rained out.
No reschedule date has been determined at this time for the contest.

Eyes on Senior Weekend.
Yesterday, the Sooners suffered the same fate as inclement weather forced Oklahoma and No. 23 Wichita State to scrap the top 25 matchup.
The pair of non-conference matchups this week would have served as OU’s last tune up before finishing off the final two series of Big 12 play.
This weekend, Oklahoma will host the Kansas Jayhawks, where a sweep would clinch the program’s 11th-straight Big 12 regular season title.
Not only are the Sooners riding a 34-game winning streak, but the program will celebrate seniors Grace Lyons, Grace Green, Alex Storako and Haley Lee, as the three-game set is the final home series of the season.
Next weekend, Oklahoma will travel to Stillwater to take on the Oklahoma State Cowgirls in what will be the final Bedlam series played at Cowgirl Stadium as members of the Big 12.
But first the Sooners will return to action agains the Jayhawks on Friday, with first pitch from Marita Hynes Field scheduled for 6 p.m.
