Cowboy 2020 linebacker prospect to announce commitment Oct. 13

Cowboy football's 2020 class is far from being finished, but the coaching staff has been working hard to try and wrap it up before the Dec. signing period. A pprospect that DC Jim Knowles has been working heavily on is three-star Southern University Lab School linebacker Jabar Triplett.
Triplett, 6-0, 202-pounds took to Twitter Wednesday evening to
BIG Decision October 13th!! Who will it be?

The decision seems to be down between Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and Arizona, He took official visits to Oklahoma State on June 14, Texas Tech on June 21 and just recently to Arizona on Sept. 14.
"Players from Louisiana view Oklahoma State as a good place to play," Triplett told Go Pokes/247Sports. "It's not too crowed and when you go out there, you're going to spend some time having fun."
Oklahoma State has certainly been a great place to play for players from Louisiana. Greats such as Vincent Taylor and Tyron Johnson, plus current players such as Jarrick Bernard and Na'Drian Dizadare are currently making plays and producing on the defensive side of the ball for coach Knowles.
As a true freshman, Bernard had a huge impact for the Pokes as he recorded 59 tackles, 3.5 for a loss, 2.0 sacks as well as an interception and a forced fumble.
While I'm not saying if Triplett commits to the Pokes that he'll play or produce his first year in Stillwater, but players from the Boot have made an impact and an early one at that.
Triplett isn't ranked very high according to 247Sports, No. 1,179 nationally and the No. 87 ranked OLB in the 2020 class, but he comes from a very talent-rich school and had a dynamic junior season. In 2018, Triplett recorded 121 total tackles, 11 sacks, one forced fumble and five interceptions, having returned three for touchdowns.
