STILLWATER -- Oklahoma State corner A.J. Green has proven over the years that he's one of the best corners in the Big 12. Well, on Wednesday afternoon, the Reese's Senior Bowl proved that Green's one of the best corners in the country by inviting him to compete in the 2020 Reese's Senior Bowl.

Green joins Mason Rudolph and James Washington, who were on the 2018 roster, and Blake Jarwin and Jordan Sterns, who were on the 2017 roster, as recent Cowboys to be invited to the Reese's Senior Bowl.

The game will take place on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 1:30 p.m. CT in Mobile, AL at Ladd Peebles Stadium and will be televised on the NFL Network.

Through nine games this season, Green has gone up against some of the premier receivers in the conference and has succeeded in shutting them down. He's recorded 38 total tackles, 31 of which have been solo stops, including one interception that was returned for a pick-six, and four pass break ups.

Going back to his junior season, Green earned second-team All-Big 12 honors as voted on by the Big 12 coaches. Just as this season, he consistently went up against the best receivers in the league and came away as the victor more often than not.

That includes his two best performances of the season against Texas' Collin Johnson and West Virginia's David Sills V. He limited Johnson to just five receptions on 13 targets with two pass break ups, and he limited Sills to just four receptions on 11 targets, including three pass breaks, one of which he recorded in the end zone to seal the upset of then No. 7 West Virginia.

Throughout last season, he recorded 49 total tackles, 39 of which were solo stops, and was one of the leaders in the Big 12 in pass break ups with 11.

Oklahoma State is off this weekend as they're in an open week, but will be back in action next weekend as the Kansas Jayhawks are coming to town for an 11 a.m. kick that's being televised on FS1.
