Oklahoma State enters this contest 4-2 overall on the season, 1-2 in the Big 12 Conference play. They're also coming off a tough 45-35 loss to Texas Tech in which the Pokes turned the ball over five time.

After speaking with Mike Gundy on Monday and select players on Tuesday, the main focus over the past few weeks has been recovery and focusing on eliminating turnovers.

Oklahoma State's depth chart for Homecoming against Baylor

"It's been real helpful," said Tylan Wallace of the extra week off. "Being able to get our feel back under us, being able to chill a little bit and guys that are injured, get them back healthy. So, it was a really big help for us."

Someone that Oklahoma State is hoping to have back is starting left tackle Dylan Galloway. Galloway's missed the last two games with an injury, which has resulted in the coaching staff moving some guys around on the offensive line.

"It happens; injuries are part of the game," said Mike Gundy. "When you start shuffling around those five guys, I'm not a big fan of that. If we didn't have injuries, very seldom do we move those guys around, even in years we struggle. If we don't keep them in the same spots, it's not easy for them to get better. Some other guys are also getting a little experience and they're getting better too."

Something that is going to help the Oklahoma State offense is Baylor will be without their leading tackler, linebacker Clay Johnston as he's been lost for the rest of the season. Johnston went down with a knee injury in the game last week against Texas Tech.

But Baylor still has one of the better defenses in the Conference. They enter this game as an FBS top-40 defense allowing just 17.8 points per game and 113.5 rushing yards per game.

However, Oklahoma State currently boasts the No. 1 running back in North America (#CanadasCowboy): Chuba Hubbard.

On the season, Hubbard is averaging 6.8 yards per carry and 182.3 yards per game. He's also racked up 1,094 yards and 13 touchdowns through the first six games of the season.

Oklahoma State is also hoping to get improved play from quarterback Spencer Sanders. With his left tackle out for the past two games, Sanders has struggled slightly and will be looking to get back on track.

Through the first six games, Sanders has thrown for 1,333 yards and 10 touchdowns, an average of 222.2 yards per game on a 63.3 percent completion rate.
