Oklahoma State has its first defensive commitment of its 2025 recruiting class. Joining Matrail Lopez and Jaylan Beckley in the recruiting class is 6-foot-4 edge rusher Kyle Keya.

Keya began his official visit at Oklahoma State this past weekend, which seemingly went well as he announced his commitment to the program on Wednesday.

"Thank you to the coaches and staff at Oklahoma St for believing in me and I thank my family and coaches at home for supporting my decision. Blessed to call myself a cowboy," Keya wrote on social media.

The 6-foot-4, 205 pound edge rusher is the first defensive player to commit to Bryan Nardo's defense in the 2025 class. Keya held offers from Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Marshall and others before deciding to take his talents to Stillwater.

Keya is from Witchita, KS, and is the state's No. 11-ranked recruit and the No. 74-ranked edge rusher in the nation.

"Iowa State was more of a surprise since it was my first but the Oklahoma State scholarship was great and awesome," Keya told 247Sports in October. "I thought it would come because I had talked to the coach a lot and he's a great dude, but I was excited and my whole family was stunned."

With the three commits, Mike Gundy and Oklahoma State rank No. 9 in the Big 12 for their 2025 recruiting class and No. 55 in the nation. Obviously, as they earn more pledges on the recruiting trail, those rankings and numbers should climb.
