Oklahoma State DE to Participate in Hula Bowl

Anthony Goodlow will showcase his talents and Oklahoma State in Orlando

Anthony Goodlow will have one final ride in the college ranks on Saturday.

The Oklahoma State defensive end will take part in the 2024 Hula Bowl in Orlando, where he will showcase his talents to scouts from across different organizations.

Goodlow, who transferred from Tulsa to the Cowboys for the 2023 season, put up solid numbers in his lone season with OSU.

He finished with 42 total tackles and seven tackles for loss, including a season-high six tackles against Cincinnati in October. He also racked up three sacks in the 2023 season.

After the Big 12 Championship game, Goodlow got a chance to speak to the media, and he said this past season was a special one for him.

"Ever since I've been here, I've been treated like family," Goodlow said. "It really meant a lot."

Goodlow spent five seasons with Tulsa, where he was dominant. He collected 113 total tackles and 20.5 tackles for loss, including 12 sacks in his career with the Golden Hurricane.

His stats turned into honors, for he was named to the Second Team All-AAC in 2022.

Goodlow teamed up with Justin Wright this season, who transferred to the Cowboys the same time Goodlow did.

Wright's season didn't go as planned as he had season-ending surgery after an injury he suffered earlier in the 2023 season. Wright medical redshirted this season, and he plans to be back with the Cowboys for the 2024 season.

With Goodlow participating in the Hula Bowl, he will get a chance to give scouts a glimpse of what he is all about.

Scouts from across several organizations will attend, including the NFL, XFL, USFL and CFL. Players also range from several countries as well, including USA, Canada, Australia and Japan.

Goodlow will play in the Hula Bowl on Jan. 13 at 11:00 a.m. in Orlando, FL. The game can be seen on CBS Sports Network.
