Oklahoma State Football Sells Out Remaining Home Games

In this story:
Oklahoma State’s season has not gone as planned, but that has not stopped fans from showing immense support.
The Cowboys have used their home crowd to help provide a boost, and they will continue to do that. After the Cowboys played in front of three straight sellout crowds to start the season, they will get another four.
OSU Football announced on Monday that every home game for the 2023 season is officially sold out.

Perhaps OSU’s potential season-turning victory against Kansas State on Friday night helped seal the season sellout. Boone Pickens Stadium was rocking as OSU pulled off the upset to move to 3-2.
Each of the four reaming games will be against a Big 12 opponent as the Cowboys hope to keep their lengthy bowl streak alive. Of course, one of those games is much more meaningful than the others.
On Nov. 4, the Oklahoma Sooners will come to Stillwater for the final regular season bedlam football game for a number of years. The highly anticipated rivalry game will be the last, thanks to OU’s move to the SEC alongside Texas.
The currently undefeated and No. 5 ranked Sooners will also give the Cowboys a chance to pull the ultimate upset. But as usual with bedlam, a healthy amount of crimson and cream is likely to be found in the sea of orange.
Kansas will visit OSU this weekend for the next of the four sellouts. The 5-1 Jayhawks will be the first ranked team the Cowboys face this season.
The other two games will be against two of the newest members of the Big 12. OSU will play Cincinnati on Oct. 28 in the Cowboys’ homecoming game.
Finally, BYU will visit Boone Pickens Stadium on Nov. 25 for both teams’ final game of the regular season. The senior day game has a chance to be the deciding factor for whether OSU is bowl-eligible this season.
If history repeats as it did with avoiding 2-3 starts, the Cowboys should get to at least five wins, as they have not had a losing record at home since 2001. Although a winning record at home is not guaranteed, an entire season of sellouts is sure to be helpful.
