The emergence of Ollie Gordon has been incredibly thrilling to watch. He's one of the most electrifying players in the Big 12, and he's got this Oklahoma State offense looking as good as ever despite the slow start to the season.

In the fourth quarter alone against West Virginia, the Cowboys running back totaled 149 yards and three touchdowns with nine carries. That was the final frame alone, as the Cowboys scored 28 points to give them a 48-34 win over the Mountaineers.

Gordon impressed once again, catching the eyes of more and more people, including 2024 Cowboys three-star commit Rodney Fields.

"Killa," Fields wrote on social media, tagging Gordon in a post of his stat line for the game.

Gordon finished the game with 29 carries, rushing for 282 yards and picking up four touchdowns on the ground. His impact on the offense simply can't be overstated this season. He's been incredible and further proves that Oklahoma State is a school that's great at identifying and developing running back talent.

This will fare well for Rodney Fields, though, as the 2024 commit is heading to a school that not only will utilize his talents but has a history of developing them. Fields, the No. 14 player in Oklahoma in the 2024 class, is heading to the perfect school for his abilities.

Fields is the No. 68 running back in the country, which bodes well when looking at where Gordon was among the talents in the 2021 recruiting class. Gordon was the No. 41 running back in his class.

For Fields, it'll be about trusting the Oklahoma State development system and taking whatever opportunity is given and making the most of it, as Gordon did this season against Iowa State, his first game getting substantial touches.
