This summer, college football fans will be able to get their hands on the first edition of a college football video game for the first time since 2014. EA is releasing EA College Football 25, which will include the Oklahoma State Cowboys, as was officially announced on Thursday.

EA released a video showing the logo of each team being involved in the game, which is each of the 134 FBS teams. The Cowboys also shared the image of their logo included in the video on their social media channels.

So, it's official that the Cowboys will be playable in EA College Football 25. Fans can now anticipate using Ollie Gordon, who projects to be one of the highest-rated players in all of the game or the rest of the Cowboys' veteran squad.

Having key returners like Gordon, Alan Bowman, Brennan Presley, Deshaun Stribling and Rashod Owens will provide one of the most entertaining cores to play within the game.

With the game coming back, EA had to pay the college athletes that would be in the game. This was, obviously, the hold-up for the past decade as the game was on hiatus. The company offered $600 dollars to over 11,000 student-athletes. It'll be interesting to see how the game handles a cover athlete, given the Name, Image and Likeness movement in college football.

Since NIL was the reason the game was out of commission in the first place, it'll also change the dynamic of the way the game is played. Conference realignment and NIL have the current state of college football in a unique spot, and it'll be interesting for fans to be able to manage and have fun within the new game.
