Ollie Gordon was among college football's best in the 2023 college football season. He's returning for the 2024 season in what could be a huge opportunity. He's coming off a No. 7 placement in the Heisman voting and Doak Walker win, proving he was the best running back in the nation for the season.

With this, could Gordon be the highest-rated player in EA College Sports 25?

The storied video game is making its long-awaited return in the summer of 2024, just ahead of the new college football season, as EA announced officially on Thursday.

With this, the Oklahoma State Cowboys will be able to be played as with their veteran roster that should be able to compete at the highest level of the Big 12. Leading that Cowboys team, of course, is Gordon, who rushed for 1,732 yards and 22 touchdowns in his sophomore breakout season last year.

247Sports projected some of the highest-rated college football players in the game's long-awaited return. Gordon was the first player listed as he was given a 99 overall by Brad Crawford, a national writer for 247Sports.

"College football's top-returning running back, there's no doubt that Ollie Gordon will be an unstoppable force in the backfield later this summer when this game releases. Whether you're giving him the football on a toss, dive or well-executed screen pass on third down, just make sure Gordon gets 20-plus touches when Oklahoma State is your team selection," Crawford wrote.

Gordon was the only player to receive a 99 overall rating by Crawford, insinuating that he would be the best player in the video game. His combination of size, speed and skill set should make for a fun playing experience.

"He'll be the Big 12's top returning player overall and could be the only 99 on the game. Take precaution going no-huddle with a bunch of carries, though. You know how often players get injured when fatigued in NCAA Football," Crawford continued.

The game is very anticipated, and there's much to be revealed about the game, but Oklahoma State having a player in contention for the best player in the video game is thrilling and will leave Cowboys fans on their feet for the game's release.
