Basketball Transfer Portal, QB Commit Demond Williams Jr Joins the Show - Locked On Ole Miss Podcast
Today's Locked On Ole Miss Podcast discusses the transfer portal heating up for Chris Beard and Ole Miss basketball with the additions of Jamarion Sharp from the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers and Austin Nunez from the Arizona State Sun Devils. We also talk about Brandon Murray from the Georgetown Hoyas and the returning core of Jaemyn Brakefield, TJ Caldwell and Matthew Murrell.
In the second segment of the show, we talk about what is coming to Ole Miss sports with football scheduling after the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners join the conference in 2024. We talk about how Ole Miss has three traditional rivals it will play every year, and either the Vanderbilt Commodores or Arkansas Razorbacks will get left out.
In our final segment of the day, we talk to Demond Williams Jr. from Basha High School in Arizona who is the current 2024 commit at quarterback in the Ole Miss class. Demond Williams highlights a class that has a chance to be very good, and he tells us when he is going back to campus and which game he is scheduling his official visit for this season.
