Ole Miss makes top-3 for Virginia Tech transfer Landers Nolley II

Ole Miss head coach Kermit Davis said on Wednesday that the team was still targeting adding one more player to their spring signing class. It may be in the form of another transfer.
Former Virginia Tech swingman Landers Nolley II narrowed his list of schools down to three on Friday, with Ole Miss making the cut alongside Georgia and Memphis.
Originally a Georgia commit out of high school, Nolley signed with Buzz Williams and the Hokies as part of their 2018 recruiting class. With Williams now at Texas A&M, Nolley announced his decision to transfer earlier this year.
A former four-star recruit out of high school, Nolley had to sit out the 2018-19 season among questions of his ACT scores from the NCAA. In the 2019-20 season, he averaged 15.5 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.
In the 2019 season opener, on the road at Clemson, Nolley hit four three pointers en route to a 30 point outing. He would go on to put up seven other 20 point games on the season, shooting a really high volume of three pointers (6.7 per game).
The upcoming Ole Miss team is already going to look quite different than a year ago. Adding Nolley would only provide more depth, and another guy with length (he's 6-foot-7) who can space the floor in a similar means as Blake Hinson.
